About my practice:
In 2017, I became a certified beekeeper under the Mecklenburg County Beekeepers Association. Since then my practice has spread from Charlotte, North Carolina to Chicago, Denver, Colorado, Union County, NC, and Atlanta, GA.
Working at the institutional and community level, I provide sustainable operations and additional support through monitoring health and productivity of honeybees.

A research project that identifies & explores the history of paint making from bee products such as encaustic paint in the American south.This research explores the cultivation of this nature based medium as a praxis for eco-conscious art making.
